Livson is a contemporary artist based in Leipzig whose work explores humanity’s enduring desire for connection in an increasingly fragmented and technologically mediated world. Drawing from both historical and contemporary artistic movements and techniques, his practice examines themes of alienation, intimacy and the shifting dynamics of human relationships.

Interested in the tension between emotional closeness and digital distance, Livson combines influences from figurative painting, contemporary image culture and experimental processes to create psychologically charged works that feel both immediate and introspective. His paintings investigate how technology reshapes perception, communication and identity, while retaining a strong focus on the vulnerability and complexity of human interaction.

He studied at the LIA International Art Programme in 2018, attended Art Lab Gnesta in 2014, and completed an apprenticeship with Guillermo Lorca in 2012.

Recent exhibitions include Running with Scissors at Anders Galerie (2026); SelfPortrait at Bushy Pony (2026); Cane Yo + Athousandmonkeys at Roch20 Gallery (2026); Layers of Reality at Montero Art + Pandora (2025); Pasajero at Centro Cultural Espacio Londres (2025); NordArt in Büdelsdorf; Blurring 3 Maler Show at Alte Handelsschule (2025); Gegenwärtig & Gegenständlich at Gallery Könitz (2025); and BOOM Wintersalon at Galerie Kristine Hamann (2024–2025).

In 2023, Livson was a finalist for the Galleri Ramfjord Art Prize. He also received grants through Deutscher Künstlerbund’s Neustart Kultur programme in 2021 for 3D Paintings for a Normal World, and the Denkzeit: Painting from Screens grant with Monochromeproject in 2020.
