Jackie Almond is a contemporary artist working primarily in acrylic on canvas and board. Her paintings are underpinned by a strong understanding of light, tone and atmosphere, developed through her early career as a colourist of antiquarian prints. This sensitivity to tonal balance and luminosity continues to shape her practice, informing works that balance clarity, subtlety and painterly depth.

Almond studied English at Brunel University between 1989 and 1991 through West London College.

Her work has been exhibited widely in the UK, including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in both 2015 and 2023. Recent exhibitions include presentations at Hayden Gallery (2023–2024), Camden Image Gallery (2019), The Gallery Norfolk (2016–2017) and Llewellyn Alexander Gallery (2016).

In 2019 Almond received second place in the public vote at the Camden Image Gallery exhibition.
