Her practice focuses on the overlooked and often inconspicuous elements of the natural world, magnifying their presence to encourage empathy, understanding, and coexistence within planetary boundaries. Through this attention to detail and material sensitivity, Schönrock proposes new ways of relating to the environment and to one another.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWorking primarily in painting, she also creates murals and installations that combine painted surfaces with sculptural elements in clay and plaster. Her works often move between the organic and the surreal, creating immersive environments where natural forms appear transformed, vulnerable and psychologically charged.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSchönrock studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg from 2008 to 2014 under Ralph Fleck.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRecent exhibitions include \u003cem\u003eScreens and Schemes\u003c\/em\u003e (2025) at the Credo Bonum Foundation and Alexandra Karpuchina Gallery, \u003cem\u003eDon’t You Ever Stop Asking\u003c\/em\u003e at Culterim Spaces, \u003cem\u003eCreep on, creepin’ on\u003c\/em\u003e at Galerie Reception, and \u003cem\u003eOutside the Line\u003c\/em\u003e at z2o Galleria Sara Zanin.
