Working primarily in oil and on paper, he reinterprets the iconography of Ovid’s \u003cem\u003eMetamorphoses\u003c\/em\u003e and Titian’s \u003cem\u003ePoesie\u003c\/em\u003e to interrogate normative constructions of gender and sexuality, queering the Western figurative tradition from within.
